Laser treatments

The word LASER is an acronym for “light amplification stimulated emission radiation” and describes a high-energy beam of light in a specific colour. The conversion into thermal energy by the laser beam is responsible for the biological effect, therefore causing a warming sensation. The energy is released in a constant stream, in pulses or in ultra-short pulses. The shorter the duration, the less the thermal effect in the tissue. A whole array of skin anomalies can be treated with various wavelengths. These include the removal of skin growths (Co2), vessels (diode lasers), hairs (diode lasers) and even tattoo removal (Q-Switch) and Fraxel Co2 skin rejuvenation.
